The Jim Jones Revue: Interview

jim_jones_revue

The Jim Jones Revue returned to Dublin last week, it having been more than three years since their last gig here, but hey it’s hard to blame them given the lack of support they got in Ireland last time round, compared to the love they always get elsewhere. Anyway thankfully this time Whelans welcomed ‘the greatest Rock n Roll band in the world right now‘ with a fairly full house on January 24th.

Showcasing songs from the recently released The Savage Heart, which casts a wider musical net, gave us an opportunity to see and hear that the hardest and loudest are now more dynamic.

I sat down with Jim Jones and Rupert Orton for a chat before the gig and this is how it went.
